The Role: Disability Support Worker

Unidex Healthcare are seeking compassionate Support Workers to provide 2:1 assistance to a 45-year-old participant in Eudunda, SA. In this role, you will support the individual with personal care, daily activities, household cleaning, laundry, and shopping, all while ensuring their safety and promoting community participation. The participant has a traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury, and your compassionate support will be vital in enhancing their quality of life.


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 Disability or equivalent qualification.
  • Supporting Effective Communication Module
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module
  • Current First Aid (Valid 3 Years)
  • Current CPR (Valid 12 Months)
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Police Check
  • Administer Medication
  • Current Drivers Licence and Insurance
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care routine.
  • Clean bathroom, kitchen and floors.
  • Complete laundry tasks
  • Assist with participation in functional tasks
  • Support community access
  • Assist to load/unload MWC into vehicle.
  • Assist with shopping
  • Support general decision making

Pay Rates:

  • Day Rate: $38.75
  • Afternoon Shift: $42.65
  • Night Shifts: $43.40
  • Saturday Shift: $54.25 per hour
  • Sunday Shift: $69.75 per hour
